Starting hourly will be $12-$18 depending on experience.

Flexible 6-8 hour shifts are available for early morning, day, night, and overnight

SUMMARY

Blackrock Strategy is looking for reliable Research Analysts who will interact with the company’s leadership and clients by staffing a 24/7 Crisis Support Call Center. Research Analysts will receive specialized training and then be responsible for researching and monitoring world events on a real-time basis in order to monitor client interests globally and assess threats and vulnerabilities.

Areas of Expertise:

  1. Monitors multiple data inputs and real-time communications in order to assess threats and vulnerabilities to clients and their world-wide travels and office locations.

  2. Maintains summary log of global events to transfer knowledge to the next research analyst on shift.

  3. Maintains knowledge of existing and developing world events related to the client needs; assesses and explains how new inquires may affect the organization in terms of risk exposure.

  4. Ensures and/or facilitates adequate communication concerning key risks.

  5. Drafts and delivers reports and presentations outlining findings, identifying, and explaining potential risks, and recommending solutions.

  6. Develops and maintains advanced research techniques to identify required data, interpret the data, and present it in a concise, clear, and professional product.

  7. Maintains client accounts and records of client interactions with details of inquiries, or comments.

  8. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve clients’ concerns.

  9. Field client questions: forwarding advanced questions to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.

  10. Collects and researches inquiries.

  11. Interacts with clients via telephone, email, online chat, video conference, or in person to provide support and information.

  12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education: High School diploma and some college credits towards a degree program.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read in English to analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, government regulations, and procedure manuals. Ability to write in English for routine reports and correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and probabilities to practical situations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Statistics formalized training, skill set, and on-the-job application is highly desired.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems by defining the problem, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid driver’s licenses issued by state of residence. Must have or be able to obtain a Top-Secret level security clearance with access to sensitive compartmented information. Must have a valid United States passport.

Sit or stand for periods of time. Ability to lift and carry 30+ pounds of gear up to 100m. Other physical demands included (but not exclusive of) use of ladders and steps, lift or team lift heavy equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job requires travel overseas and to military field-like conditions. These operations have the potential to be extremely dangerous and operators in this field can be subject to direct and indirect risks.
